Education of healthcare professionals is of primary importance for patient safety. In some health related professions, education and\ntraining have to be practiced during the entire working period and not only limited to school years. The use of new technology\nsuch as virtual reality and e-learning brings new possibilities with significant improvement in learning outcomes. Serious gaming\ndescribes a technology that can educate and train while entertaining users. This type of training can be very useful for health\nprofessions because it improves learning outcomes creating a learner oriented approach and providing a stealth mode of teaching.\nIn some fields it represents an ideal instrument for continuous health professions education also in terms of costs because it is\ncheaper than traditional training methods that use cadavers or mannequins. In this paper we make a scoping review of serious\ngames developed for health professions and health related fields in order to understand if they are useful tools for health related\nfields training. Many papers confirmed that serious gaming is a useful technology that improves learning and skills development\nfor health professionals...
The coordinator is a specific node that controls the whole network and has a significant impact on the performance in cooperative\nmultihop Zig Bee wireless sensor networks (ZWSNs). However, the malicious node attacks coordinator nodes in an effort to waste\nthe resources and disrupt the operation of the network. Attacking leads to a failure of one round of communication between the\nsource nodes and destination nodes. Coordinator selection is a technique that can considerably defend against attack and reduce\nthe data delivery delay, and increase network performance of cooperative communications. In this paper, we propose an adaptive\ncoordinator selection algorithm using game and fuzzy logic aiming at both minimizing the average number of hops and maximizing\nnetwork lifetime. The proposed game model consists of two interrelated formulations: a stochastic game for dynamic defense and a\nbest response policy using evolutionary game formulation for coordinator selection. The stable equilibrium best policy to response\ndefense is obtained from this game model. It is shown that the proposed scheme can improve reliability and save energy during the\nnetwork lifetime with respect to security....
The contents access and sharing in multimedia social networks (MSNs) mainly rely on access control models and mechanisms.\nSimple adoptions of security policies in the traditional access control model cannot effectively establish a trust relationship among\nparties. This paper proposed a novel two-party trust architecture (TPTA) to apply in a generic MSN scenario. According to the\narchitecture, security policies are adopted through game-theoretic analyses and decisions. Based on formalized utilities of security\npolicies and security rules, the choice of security policies in content access is described as a game between the content provider\nand the content requester. By the game method for the combination of security policies utility and its influences on each partys\nbenefits, the Nash equilibrium is achieved, that is, an optimal and stable combination of security policies, to establish and enhance\ntrust among stakeholders....
When considering strategic games from the conceptual perspective that focuses on the questions of participantsââ?¬â?¢ decision-making\nrationality, the very issues of modelling and simulation are rarely discussed. The well-known Rational Pigs matrix game has\nbeen relatively intensively analyzed in terms of reassessment of the logic of two players involved in asymmetric situations as\ngluttons that differ significantly by their attributes. This paper presents a successful attempt of using autogenerator for creating the\nframework of the game, including the predefined scenarios and corresponding payoffs. Autogenerator offers flexibility concerning\nthe specification of game parameters, which consist of variations in the number of simultaneous players and their features and game\nobjects and their attributes as well as some general game characteristics. In the proposed approach the model of autogenerator\nwas upgraded so as to enable program specification updates. For the purpose of treatment of more complex strategic scenarios,\nwe created the Rational Pigs Game Extended (RPGE), in which the introduction of a third glutton entails significant structural\nchanges. In addition, due to the existence of particular attributes of the new player, ââ?¬Å?the tramp,ââ?¬Â one equilibrium point from the\noriginal game is destabilized which has an influence on the decision-making of rational players....
We consider stochastic cooperative game and give it the definition of the Owen value, which is obtained by extending the classical\ncase. Then we provide explicit expression for the Owen value of the stochastic cooperative game and discuss its existence and\nuniqueness...
